Director and photographer Alex Nazari’s world is derived from being Armenian American growing up in the city of Los Angeles. As a first generation American who’s family history is rooted deeply in their heritage, his ideals and growth are intertwined in this unique mix of cultures. His directing style emphasizes authentic film making; documentary aesthetics, a narrative based flow, with a dash of provocation and surrealism. Within seconds, Nazari throws the viewer into often nocturnal, hypnotic sensations where mysterious and freedom thirsty characters navigate on the cusp of reality. His distinctive work seduced Hip Hop’s megastars, such as Travis Scott, Future, 2 Chainz, and many others. His visceral approach has already received acclaim in the realm of advertising, working recently with significant brands like Acne Studios, Reebok, Versace, and Rolls Royce.
